Customer required that the robot not only serve as a machine loading unit but also as a workholding system. The robot inserted the part into a press and rotated the part to an exact position during this high speed pressing operation.

Click here for video demo (Right click and choose "Save Target as..." to save the video.) Customer required grinding, sanding and polishing of the part from a raw casting to a finished unit. The robot equipped the part to six force compensated drive heads with different media. ADE's FinishWorks software was used to allow interactive operator control within the process without the need for robot reprogramming.

Customer required automatic testing and data acquisition for skid steer loader assembly line. This dynameter load system tested and retrieved critical drive train data for the loader prior to the customer. A custom robot was built to operate the loader during the test cycle.
